Jardel Rodrigues graduated with an English and Creative Writing degree from the University of Salford (Now part of The English Multidiscipline degree). He is an award winning multimedia performance poet whose work spans live performance to recorded music. Jardel has been an active member, and ambassador, for the local performance poetry group Young Identity, based at the Contact Theatre and in residency at HOME. Jardel won the BBC Words First Spoken Word Poetry competition and was chosen by the British Council to represent British poetry at a performance in Berlin.
