Karen Kendrick graduated in 2016 from the MA Creative Writing: Innovation and Experiment at the University of Salford. While on the course she began writing a young adult sci fi novel called Afterwards, which was published by The Red Telephone in 2024. She is currently working on several new novel projects, including the second Aftewards book. She teaches creative writing and novel writing at Warrington and Vale Royal College. She also writes and performs poetry and has had her work published in magazines and anthologies, the most recent being in the Ey Up anthology published by Written Off.
