Lucy Hulton is an AHRC-funded PhD student in Creative Writing at the University of Salford. Her research interests include the intersections of multilingualism and visual text as well as the history and impacts of telecommunications. She was awarded the Leanne Bridgewater Award (2021) for the experimental writing she produced during her MA at Salford. As part of her PhD research, Lucy has presented at various conferences in the UK and online. Creativity wise, Lucy works across forms and was shortlisted for the Streetcake Experimental Poetry Awards (2020).
